About Our Statue:

We have traditionally hand-carved the statue of Yamantaka on Buffalo in a copper body gilded with genuine 24k gold and painted with acrylic colors. This Buddhist statue portrays a Yidam deity standing on top of a sun disc lotus seat above the buffalo body. In a wrathful expression, he holds a vajra in his right hand while he holds a vase in his left hand. We have adorned him with skull head garland plated with gold and embellished the ornaments with jewels. You can use this sculpture on different Buddhist occasions and in your regular meditational or yoga activities. We assure you that the materials used in this artwork are of high quality and will last for many years without damage or scratches.

Yamantaka is one wrathful deity, popularly practiced by all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. The statue depicts his unique and equally interesting iconographic details. His center main head is in fact a buffalo head, expressing his utmost wrath with open fangs, blazing eyebrows, and mustache.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
