The Philosophy of the Jewel
In the sacred book of Dharma, the meaning of Evamratna carries ancient Himalayan weight. Far more than just a brand name, “Evam” stands for the union of wisdom (prajna) and compassion (karuna), the two wings of enlightenment. As a “Ratna” or jewel, we strive to embody the indestructible essence of the Buddha Dharma.
At Evamratna, we do not view ritual implements as mere décor. They are Upaya — skillful means that bridge the gap between the seeker and the divine. These artefacts, carrying ancient Himalayan lineages, strengthen the practitioner’s path and complete sacred spaces with authentic tools preserved by the Newar community.
Origin
The Sacred Origin
At Evamratna, “authentic” is not a marketing term. It is an act of devotion. We honor master artists following spiritual lineages passed down through generations. In the workshops of the Kathmandu Valley, incense hangs in the air while skilled hands transform bronze, silver, and gold into sacred forms.
This artistry transcends automation. Through the touch of the artist, every creation begins to breathe Prana — life force — turning raw material into a vessel worthy of sadhana. Every strike of the hammer is a prayer. Every finished piece is a bridge to the sacred.
Intention
The Alchemy of Intention
Every ritual implement is more than an object. It is a vessel of intention and integrity. We bridge the aspiration of the seeker with ancient artistry, offering tools that extend practice beyond symbolism into daily spiritual grounding.
Crafted by hand and shaped through lost-wax casting traditions, these tools are made to transform sacred space into something living, centered, and protective — not simply aesthetic decoration.
