Evamratna: Ornaments from the Himalayas

The Union of Wisdom, Compassion, and Lineage

The Philosophy of the Jewel

In the sacred book of Dharma, the meaning of Evamratna carries ancient Himalayan weight. Far more than just a brand name, ‘Evam’ stands for the Union of wisdom (prajna) and compassion (karuna), the two wings of Enlightenment. As a ‘Ratna’ or ‘Jewel’, we strive to embody the indestructible essence of the Buddha Dharma.

At Evamratna, we do not view the ritual implements as mere décor; they are the Upaya or skillful means to bridge the gap between the seeker and the divine. These artefacts carrying ancient Himalayan lineages strengthen the practitioner’s path. We complete the sacred spaces with authentic ritual tools preserved by the Newar community and carried by Yogis and Siddhas for grounding their practice in equanimity.

The Sacred Origin

At Evamratna, “Authentic” is not a marketing term—it is an act of devotion. We honor our master artists following the spiritual lineages passed down through generations. We pay homage to the Newar community of the Kathmandu valley; in their workshop, the air is thick with ritual incense, and hands holding hammers rhythmically tap bronze, silver and gold—transforming raw metals into sacred forms that the world reveres.

This master artistry transcends beyond automation and robotics. Through their touch, every creation starts breathing Prana (life force), converting cold metals into the vessels worthy of Sadhana. This is a living heritage, where every strike of the hammer is a prayer, and every finished piece is a bridge to the sacred.

The Mandala of Tools

At Evamratna, we understand that a practitioner’s altar is a map of their inner world. We offer both symbolic and functional ritual implements and tools curated according to the ancient lineages.

The Alchemy of Intention

"At Evamratna, every ritual implement is more than an object; it is a vessel of intention and integrity." We bridge the gap between the intention of a seeker with ancient artistry. These tools serve as an extension of mind with the ability to transform mundane perceptions into enlightened wisdom.

Crafted by hands and following the lost wax casting method, these tools have the capabilities to pierce the ordinary noises of egoistic minds into something deeper and meaningful. These products are beyond aesthetic decoration; but a "living" sacred space that breathes and protects.
