Crafted from an oxidized copper body, this sacred Buddhist statue measures 22.5cm in height, 17cm in length, and 9.5cm in width, with a weight of 1.55kg. The rich oxidized finish enhances the depth of the finely carved details, highlighting the deity’s serene expression, elaborate ornaments, flowing scarves, and traditional Himalayan sculptural artistry.
The statue depicts Manjushri seated upon a lotus pedestal, holding his iconic flaming sword of wisdom in his raised right hand, symbolizing the power to cut through ignorance, confusion, and delusion. His left hand holds the stem of a lotus flower supporting the Prajnaparamita Sutra, representing the perfection of wisdom teachings. The detailed crown, jewelry, celestial garments, and peaceful facial expression reflect Manjushri’s enlightened qualities. His meditation posture and graceful form express clarity of mind, awareness, and the pursuit of higher knowledge.
This Manjushri Bodhisattva statue is a meaningful addition to Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, learning environments, and sacred collections. The oxidized copper surface gives the sculpture a deep antique appearance while emphasizing the symbolic details and craftsmanship of Himalayan Buddhist art.
