About Our Statue

The Wisdom Bodhisattva Manjughosa Statue stands 8.5 inches tall and features an oxidized copper body, acrylic paintings, and gemstones. Manjughosa is revered as a Bodhisattva of wisdom, embodying the qualities of insight and enlightenment. This statue is perfect for any meditation space, altar, or as a meaningful gift for those seeking spiritual growth.

Manjughosa, also known as Manjushri, is depicted seated on a lotus throne, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. He holds a flaming sword in his right hand, representing the cutting through of ignorance and delusion. His left hand holds the Prajnaparamita Sutra, signifying ultimate wisdom. A swirling scarf adds dynamic movement to the piece, while the statue's intricate crown and jewelry highlight its divine nature.

In Buddhist traditions, Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is revered for his ability to cut through delusion and bring clarity. When paired with his consort, this portrayal stresses the combination of transcendent wisdom (Manjushri) and deep comprehension (Consort). They work together to guide the seeker to understand reality better, emphasizing the balance of knowledge and sensitivity. This statue serves as a beacon for anyone seeking a greater sense of themselves and the universe.

Their combination serves as a powerful reminder of the significance of blending profound knowledge with true compassion on the path to enlightenment and spiritual liberation.
