This White Tara Meditation Statue is a handcrafted representation of the revered Buddhist deity White Tara, created from an oxidized copper body with detailed Himalayan craftsmanship. Measuring 16.5 cm in height, 13 cm in length, and 8 cm in width, with a weight of 0.79 kg, this statue features an antique copper finish with finely carved ornaments, robes, and a beautifully designed lotus base. This statue portrays White Tara seated gracefully in a peaceful meditation posture on a lotus throne. She wears an ornate crown, earrings, necklaces, and decorative ornaments that represent her enlightened qualities. Her right hand is extended in the Varada Mudra (gesture of generosity and compassion), symbolizing her willingness to offer blessings and support, while her left hand is raised near the heart in the gesture of protection and refuge, holding the stem of a lotus flower. The lotus blossoms beside her shoulders represent purity and spiritual awakening. Her serene facial expression, detailed crown, flowing scarves, and elegant ornaments enhance the compassionate appearance of this sacred figure.

Introduction of White Tara
White Tara is a female bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, often depicted with seven eyes. According to legend, she emerged from Avalokiteshvara's tear, which fell to earth and formed a lake. From this lake, a lotus bloomed, revealing the goddess when it opened. Like Avalokiteshvara, she is a compassionate figure who aids sentient beings in their quest for enlightenment.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
