Seven-Eyed Deity White Tara Buddhist Painting | Amitayus Buddha, Namgyalma and Five Dhyani Buddhas Thangka
The White Tara Buddhist painting is beautifully hand-painted by skilled artists in the Kathmandu Valley. Created on handmade cotton canvas using traditional Himalayan painting techniques, this artwork reflects the cultural heritage of Tibetan Buddhist artistry. Artists carefully apply acrylic colors to achieve vibrant tones, delicate shading, and refined details throughout the sacred composition. Genuine 24K Gold enhance the ornamental features, bringing warmth and radiance to the artwork. The careful combination of expressive colors, precise brushwork, and traditional workmanship celebrates the artistic beauty of Himalayan Buddhist painting. This meaningful thangka offers a serene focal point for meditation spaces, Buddhist altars, and spiritual art collections. The creation of this sacred artwork requires artistic discipline, patience, and an understanding of traditional Buddhist iconography.
Tibetan Buddhism admires White Tara, also known as Sita Tara, as a symbol of compassion, wisdom, and longevity. Traditionally shown seated on a lotus, she demonstrates the purity and tranquillity achieved through compassion. White Tara is often associated with providing healing, protection, and granting long life. At the same time, her multiple-eye depictions on her palms, feet, and forehead represent her vigilance and ability to see all beings suffering so she can assist them in attaining liberation from that suffering. When invoked for practitioners’ longevity and well-being, she is thought to provide both spiritual and physical healing through her mantras. For practitioners, White Tara’s serene presence serves as a constant reminder to develop compassion, patience, and mindfulness throughout the journey towards enlightenment, with an emphasis on healing both self and others. Above White Tara, five Dhyani Buddhas are depicted. Five Dhyani Buddhas (also called the Five Wisdom Tathagatas) represent five aspects of enlightened consciousness and universal energy in Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhism. Below, White Tara, Amitayus, and Namgyalma are depicted. Amitayus is the Buddha of Infinite Life, and it signifies long life, vitality, and the constant movement of life energy. He symbolizes not only longevity as a physical concept but also a further meaning of well-being, equilibrium, and spiritual fullness. Namgyalma is a goddess in Tibetan Buddhism who is revered as a protector of longevity and remover of obstacles on the path to spiritual growth.
