The Wheel of Life Samsara Thangka is a significant and respected depiction of life's cyclical essence (Samsara). The three poisons of ignorance (pig), attachment (bird), and wrath (snake) are pictured in the middle of the Wheel of Life. These symbolic animals reflect the fundamental causes of sorrow, which perpetuate the Samsara cycle. The gold highlights on these figures emphasize the intensity of these emotions and their role in ensnaring beings in an endless circle of pain. The surrounding realms (human, semi-god, god, hell, hungry ghost, and animal) represent different states of existence in Samsara. The human realm is highlighted as the most favorable place for spiritual practice, offering both suffering and pleasure as means of spiritual growth.

The outer circle of the Wheel illustrates the twelve connections of dependent origination, showing how suffering arises and endures in the cycle of existence. From ignorance to aging and death, these links reveal how attachment, desire, and ignorance extend pain. Yama, the Lord of Death, firmly holds the entire wheel, reminding us of life's fleeting nature. The Buddha is depicted outside the wheel, pointing toward the Pure Land, which signifies the potential for freedom from Samsara and the pathway to Nirvana.

Consecration of Thangka
At the Enlightenment Thangka, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka to respective Monasteries.
