About Our Product
The Vishwo Vajra, also known as the Double Vajra, is a revered symbol in Vajrayana Buddhism associated with spiritual protection, balance, and awakened awareness. The four vajra heads extending in all directions represent stability, clarity, and the unwavering nature of enlightened wisdom. This sacred form is traditionally linked with protection of sacred space and the harmonization of spiritual energies.
Handcrafted from brass, this Vishwo Vajra measures 13 cm in height and 11 cm in width, with a weight of 0.66 kg, giving it a grounded and balanced presence. Its symmetrical structure reflects the meaning of the four vajra directions—east, south, west, and north—symbolizing completeness, inner steadiness, and the foundation of enlightened space in Buddhist tradition.
Placed on an altar, meditation area, or sacred setting, the Vishwo Vajra serves as a powerful emblem of wisdom and compassion united. It is traditionally used beneath ritual objects, stupas, or mandalas to signify spiritual grounding and protection, making it meaningful for practitioners, collectors, and admirers of Buddhist sacred art.
Introduction of Vishwo Vajra
The Tibetan Dorje represents indestructibility and efficiency, overcoming all obstacles. Symbolically, the Dorje Vajra destroys ignorance. In Tibetan Buddhist rituals, the vajra is often used in conjunction with the bell, representing the masculine and feminine, yin and yang, and the balance between practical action and compassion. The shape of the Tibetan Dorje is symmetrical, with two pyramidal heads representing samsara and Nirvana that cancel each other out at its center, thanks to the ring of Emptiness. Having a Dorje at home would have positive virtues against various attacks, whether external or internal (such as negative energy). It helps to purify and protect the space.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
