This is a vintage Avalokiteshvara Mandala thangka with intricate gorgeous details. This thangka was collected in early 2000. This thangka was painted by Veteran Thangka Artist Lopsang Lama in his village in Ramechaap Nepal.
Mr. Lopsang has a long history of painting thangkas. He started when he was 11 years old and now he must be in his early 60's. The exquisite linings and flawless color combination are one of his trademarks.
