About Our Statue :
We have had this statue in our collection for over 25 years now. This statue was stored away for several years. We just recently decided to showcase our vintage statue collection on platforms like Etsy. We were thrilled to discover the depth of these beautiful sculptures when we opened the boxes and decided to showcase them online for everyone to see. In early 2000, we changed our company name from J.B.Art Center to Ritual Thanka and focused primarily on collecting and selling thangka paintings. Due to COVID-19, we have had to change our business strategy and focus more on online platforms. We hope the aesthetics of these vintage statues bring a deep sense of happiness to your hearts.
Traditional Hand Carved Tara Green Sculpture:
We have traditionally hand-carved the sculpture of Tara Green using genuine 24k gold in a pure copper body and painted with acrylic colors. You can use this statue in many Buddhist rituals, daily meditation, or yoga activities, and even as home decor. A deity, depicted atop a moon-disc lotus seat with a tranquil expression, holds a utpala flower in both hands. We have adorned the magnificent crown with precious turquoise and coral, illuminating her face while the elegantly embellished ornaments engulf her presence. This indoor Himalayan art will be a tremendous gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.
Green Tara:
Green Tara is the manifestation from where all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered female enlightened deity of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara," as she embodies enlightened love and compassion.
