About Our Product

This Vajrayana Serkyem Offering Set is a handcrafted ritual vessel made from a copper body, designed according to traditional Himalayan Buddhist practices. The set features a raised central cup placed above a larger offering bowl, creating the distinctive two-tiered form of a Serkyem. The surface is decorated with delicate engraved floral patterns, while the polished copper finish highlights the warm appearance and skilled metal craftsmanship of the artisan.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, a Serkyem (golden offering) is a traditional offering vessel used during rituals and prayers, especially for making special offerings to protective deities, Dharma guardians, and enlightened beings. The elevated upper cup is used to hold liquid offerings, while the larger lower bowl supports the offering arrangement. The practice of offering through a Serkyem represents devotion, respect, gratitude, and the aspiration to receive spiritual blessings and protection.

This Copper Serkyem Offering Set is suitable for Buddhist altars, Vajrayana ritual practices, meditation spaces, shrine rooms, temples, and spiritual collections. Its compact size makes it ideal for personal practice areas, while the engraved copper design adds traditional beauty to sacred displays. Combining ritual purpose with Himalayan craftsmanship, this Serkyem serves as a meaningful representation of Buddhist devotion and ceremonial tradition.

Introduction of Serkyem Set

Serkyem sets are traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhist rituals to offer food and water to deities and other spiritual entities. These sets typically consist of two vessels, one containing solid offerings and the other liquid. Serkyem is a symbolic offering, representing sustenance and nourishment for the spiritual realm. It is believed to cultivate merit and deepen devotion through such acts of generosity and reverence.
