About Our Product

This Vajrayana Kangling Ritual Horn Set is crafted from white metal and brass, measuring 45cm in height, 7cm in length, and 10.5cm in width, with a single weight of 0.21 kg and a combined weight of 0.43 kg. Featuring a traditional Tibetan Buddhist design, this matching pair of ritual horns combines elongated white metal bodies with decorative brass fittings and ornamental carvings. Their aged metallic finish and traditional structure reflect the artistic character of Himalayan Buddhist ritual instruments. This Tibetan Kangling set is suitable for monastery altars, personal shrines, meditation rooms, Vajrayana ritual practices, and collections of sacred Buddhist objects.

This Kangling ritual horn set features two elongated, tapered instruments with narrow upper sections and wider, flared lower ends. Each horn displays a circular brass mouthpiece, decorative metal bands, and a raised ornamental collar adorned with intricate floral patterns. The lower sections feature engraved decorative motifs, small circular openings, and brass embellishments extending downward from the central collars. The white metal surfaces display subtle variations in tone and an aged appearance, contrasting with the warm golden color of the brass fittings. The matching forms and detailed metalwork highlight the traditional Himalayan ceremonial design.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the Kangling is a sacred ritual wind instrument traditionally associated with Vajrayana ceremonies and Chöd practices. Its sound symbolizes impermanence, the transformation of fear, and the overcoming of attachment and ego-clinging. During Chöd rituals, the Kangling is used to support practices focused on compassion, generosity, wisdom, and spiritual liberation. This white metal and brass Kangling set is suitable for traditional Buddhist ceremonies, devotional practices, sacred altar displays, and Himalayan ritual instrument collections. It also makes a meaningful spiritual gift for Vajrayana practitioners and collectors of Tibetan Buddhist artwork.

Introduction of Kangling

The Tibetan Kangling, also known as a Tibetan Dung Dung, is a ritualistic trumpet crafted from brass and white metal. It is deeply embedded in Buddhist traditions, frequently utilized in meditation, prayer, and ceremonial practices. The Kangling is recognized for its unique sound, which is believed to dispel negativity, promote healing, and foster spiritual growth. Its design features a narrow mouthpiece connected to a cylindrical body, often adorned with decorative patterns and embellishments. These elements are thought to amplify its spiritual resonance, transforming the Kangling into a powerful tool for enhancing one's spiritual journey and creating a tranquil environment for meditation and reflection.
