About our Statue:
The Vajrayana Deity Vairocana statue stands 9.1 inches (23 cm) tall, with a base width of 5.9 inches (15 cm), and weighs 1.31 kilograms. Crafted meticulously from oxidized copper, the statue exudes a timeless and sacred aura through its deep, rich patina finish, which emphasizes its spiritual depth and artistic craftsmanship. This statue is a profound symbol of transcendence, wisdom, and spiritual illumination—an inspiring addition for practitioners and collectors alike.
He represents Buddhism's most profound speculation on the emptiness and interpenetration of all elements in the universe (dharmadhātu). Vairocana sits on a lotus seat with his hands in the gesture of Dharmachakra mudra. This statue would make an ideal present to support your practice of Buddhism. Our craftsmen took this into consideration while creating the statue.
Adhi Buddha created Vairocana as one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Vairocana means "luminous" or "embodiment of light" in Sanskrit. Vairocana is a Primordial Buddha who sits in the heart of the temple. He's also known as the "Great Lighting One," "the Life force that illuminates the cosmos."
Introduction to Shayamuni Buddha:
Shakyamuni Buddha, once Prince Siddhartha of the Shakya clan, left behind his royal comforts to seek a more profound truth beyond the joys and sorrows of the world. Through intense meditation and ascetic practice beneath the Bodhi tree, he attained enlightenment and became the Buddha—the Awakened One. Devoted to sharing the path to liberation, he taught the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Shakyamuni symbolizes the potential for awakening in everyone, embodying wisdom that conquers ignorance and fosters serene detachment. His enduring presence invites us to cultivate compassion and mindfulness, and to embark on a transformative journey within ourselves.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
