About Our Product

This Vajrasattva Meditation Pendant measures 6.5cm in height, 4cm in length, and 1cm in width, and weighs 0.03 kg. The locket case is handcrafted from white metal by local artisans of Patan and features a colorful acrylic depiction of Vajrasattva at the center. Four turquoise stones are set into the corners of the front frame, adding vivid blue-green accents to the silver-toned surface. The rectangular case is surrounded by finely worked raised ornamentation, giving the piece a detailed traditional Himalayan appearance.

The front panel presents Vajrasattva seated against a radiant orange halo, with his peaceful expression, white complexion, ornaments, and flowing garments rendered in colorful acrylic work. The figure is shown holding the vajra and bell, traditional attributes associated with his representation. The central artwork is enclosed by an ornate white metal border decorated with repeated circular scrollwork and raised patterns, while turquoise cabochons mark the four corners. The reverse features elaborate raised floral and foliate ornamentation arranged symmetrically across the metal surface, adding substantial decorative detail to the back of the locket as well.

Vajrasattva is an important figure in Vajrayana Buddhism and is particularly associated with purification practices. His hundred-syllable mantra and visualization practice are widely used within Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Created in 2019 by local artisans of Patan, this pendant combines his sacred imagery with traditional metal craftsmanship and colorful gemstone detailing, making it suitable for personal wear, Buddhist jewelry collections, gifting, or keeping as a small representation of Himalayan Buddhist art.
