About Our Product
This Vajrasattva Home Shrine Statue measures 25.5cm in height, 15.5cm in length, and 11cm in width, with a weight of 1.84 kg. Crafted from a copper body with an oxidized finish, this 2019 sculpture presents a seated figure in a composed meditative posture, richly adorned with traditional ornaments and an elaborate crown. The oxidized surface gives the copper a deep, warm appearance while emphasizing the sculpted details throughout the figure.
The figure sits cross-legged on a lotus-style base, holding the vajra near the chest in the raised right hand and the bell in the left hand near the lap. The ornate crown features layered decorative elements and a central finial, complemented by elaborate earrings, necklaces, armlets, and other jewelry. The finely modeled facial features convey a calm expression, while the detailed hair arrangement, ornaments, and seated posture are carefully represented from both the front and back.
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is closely associated with purification practices and the removal of negative karma and obscurations. The vajra and bell held by the figure represent complementary aspects of Buddhist practice, particularly method and wisdom. This Vajrasattva Home Shrine Statue is suitable for Buddhist altars, home shrines, meditation spaces, Dharma rooms, and collections of traditional Himalayan Buddhist art.
