About Our Statue
This Vajrasattva (Dorje Sempa) statue is 19.5cm in height and 12.5cm in breadth and weighs 1.08 kilograms. This religious sculpture, made of copper and plated in gold, portrays the peaceful spirit of Vajrasattva, also known as the Great Purifier. He is revered in Vajrayana Buddhism and serves as a prominent figure for people seeking spiritual purification and inner transformation.
In this portrayal, Vajrasattva holds a vajra close to his chest with his right hand, indicating unwavering compassion. In contrast, his left hand rests at his hip, holding a bell, representing supreme wisdom. The balance of these two sacred utensils represents the confluence of procedure and insight, which are crucial elements on the path to enlightenment. Seated in a contemplative lotus stance, his countenance exudes calm and heavenly grace, directing practitioners to inner purity and clarity.
Introduction To Vajrasattva:
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered as a figure of purity. He is frequently seen clutching a bell and a vajra, or thunderbolt, signifying the confluence of wisdom and compassion required for enlightenment. His mantra is frequently repeated as a part of rituals for both individual and group purification, highlighting his function in assisting followers in upholding spiritual integrity and cleanliness.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
