About Our Statue:

This Vajrapani statue is 63.5cm tall and 57cm broad and weighs 22.55kg. It is made of copper and has exquisite electro-gold and electro-silver plating and vibrant acrylic coloring. Vajrapani, the ferocious defender and protector of Vajrayana Buddhism, is the embodiment of enlightened force and the destroyer of ignorance. His wrathful aspect is not intended to inspire fear but to represent the strong compassion that removes obstructions on the spiritual path.

With one hand clutching a vajra (thunderbolt), Vajrapani holds the indestructible weapon of spiritual power and knowledge, capable of piercing through delusion and illusion. His dynamic position emanates enormous energy and motion; every detail conveys strength and protection. The crown of skulls on his head indicates his victory over death and the ego. At the same time, the ornate halo of flames around him represents his purifying force, which removes harmful influences and protects dharma practitioners.

Introduction To Vajrapani:

Vajrapani is the manifestation of all of the buddhas' boundless power and the first meditational deity in this series to be depicted in a wrathful form. He is standing, adorned in a tiger silk cloth. His hands are in a menacing mudra, which is used to overcome obstacles, and his right hand is holding a vajra, which represents the enlightened force of full spiritual awakening.  

How do take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
