Classic Oxidized Copper Statue of Vajrapani Bodhisattva
Delicately handcrafted in our workshop, this Vajrapani bodhisattva statue is intricately designed with unique Nepali motifs. The bodhisattva, associated with power, protection, and the ability to overcome obstacles, is depicted standing atop a moon disc lotus seat as blazing flames surround him, forming a sort of halo. His wrathful appearance, an indication of his ability to uproot negativity, is enhanced more by the fiery halo. He lifts a vajra, a ritual implement, toward the sky with his left hand, which represents his ability to cut through ignorance and reveal the true nature of reality. He also carries a whip in his right hand, a symbolic representation of his ability to overcome obstacles and conquer negative emotions.
This statue is carved of oxidized copper, adding an element of antiquity to the piece. This statue is sure to capture the eye and add a sense of peace and tranquility to any setting.

Vajrapani, known as “chag na dor je” in Tibetan is one of the earliest deities of Mahayana Buddhism. He represents the power of all Buddha. With the opening of the third eye, he looks ferocious. He is a Bodhisattva who represents the enlightened mind's energy, and his mantra reflects that characteristic. The dancing within the halo flames represents transformation. The holding of Vajra stands for power that cuts through the delusion’s darkness and the lasso is to bind demons.
