The "Diamond- Thunderbolt Dagger" Buddha, Vajrakila Buddha, is a furious buddha archetype crucial to Padma Sambhava and the Old Tantras. His name reflects the ability of buddha-wisdom to transform ignorant beings' damaging self-habit. The three doorways of liberty - voidness, signlessness, and wishlessness – which indicate the reality of all things in terms of their existence, causation, and fruition, are represented by the triangle blade of the dagger that is this deity's emblem. As a result, Vajrakila as an archetype exemplifies the transcendent wisdom's ability to overcome egocentrism and possessiveness.
