Vajrabhairava Yamantaka is the wrathful manifestation of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. Created in the traditional Tibetan style, this hand-painted thangka features acrylic colors and 24K gold accents. The intricate gold detailing highlights the deity's power, while the deep, bold colors enhance his formidable presence. Yamantaka, revered as the Destroyer of Death, symbolizes triumph over ignorance and the cycle of rebirth.
Vajrabhairava Yamantaka is depicted with nine ferocious heads, each representing a different aspect of strength and wisdom. His main head is that of a buffalo, symbolizing unchanging power and the ability to overcome all barriers. Above his wrathful visage, the calm head of Manjushri represents the supreme wisdom that transcends destruction and fear. His consort, Vajravetali, embodies the perfect union of wisdom and compassion, two essential elements of Vajrayana Buddhism. Surrounded by blazing flames, he stands commanding over subdued figures, signifying the defeat of ignorance and negativity. It is a spiritual protector and meditative aid, making it ideal for altar display, tantric practice, or personal contemplation.
