About Our Statue:
This Vairocana Cosmic Buddha Statue is crafted from a copper body with elegant gold plating, standing 12.5cm tall and 8.5cm wide, weighing 0.33kg. Despite its compact size, it carries a powerful spiritual presence. Vairocana, known as the Buddha of Cosmic Illumination, embodies universal wisdom. This statue brings clarity and harmony to meditation spaces, altars, or sacred home environments.
The statue features Vairocana seated in the dharmachakra mudra, symbolizing the turning of the Wheel of Dharma. The detailed facial expression, serene posture, and beautifully sculpted robes highlight the craftsmanship of traditional Himalayan metalwork. The ornate aureole surrounding the Buddha is adorned with layered motifs that evoke purity, radiance, and spiritual awakening. The gold-plated surface enhances the sculpture’s warm glow, making it a captivating centerpiece.
Vairocana is honored as the central figure among the Five Dhyani Buddhas, representing the wisdom that illuminates all phenomena. Displaying this statue invites peace, inner awareness, and spiritual transformation into your space. Ideal for collectors of Buddhist art or anyone seeking meaningful sacred decor, this piece enriches its surroundings with cultural depth and symbolic brilliance.
Introduction to Vairocana
Vairocana/Mahavairocana Buddha is one of the five Dhyani Buddhas, seated on a lotus pedestal, surrounded by hundreds of flowers in the statue. He has three heads, and his hands are in a meditative posture. Adhi Buddha created Vairocana as one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Vairocana means "luminous" or "embodiment of light" in Sanskrit. Vairocana is a Primordial Buddha who sits in the heart of the temple. He's also known as the "great lighting one," "the Life force that illuminates the cosmos."
