About our Statue:
The Ultimate Wisdom Bodhisattva Manjushri Statue measures 9.3 inches (23.5cm) in height and 7.5 inches (19cm) at the base. The Bodhisattva of Wisdom is crafted from an oxidized copper body adorned with 24K gold gilding. Crafted by expert artisans, this item symbolizes the rich traditions of Himalayan Buddhism, making it an important addition to altars, meditation places, or holy collections.
Manjushri is shown holding the flaming sword of wisdom in his right hand, symbolizing the abolition of ignorance, and the Prajnaparamita Sutra in his left hand, representing the embodiment of supreme knowledge. This statue depicts the attributes of clarity, insight, and intellectual force, making it a meaningful object of devotion and an excellent addition to any location dedicated to wisdom and enlightenment.
Introduction to Manjushri:
In Buddhist traditions, Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is revered for his ability to cut through delusion and bring clarity. When paired with his consort, this portrayal stresses the combination of transcendent wisdom (Manjushri) and deep comprehension (Consort). They work together to guide the seeker to understand reality better, emphasizing the balance of knowledge and sensitivity. This statue serves as a beacon for anyone seeking a greater sense of themselves and the universe.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
