About Our Product
This Tsongkhapa Buddhist Sculpture Set presents Tsongkhapa together with his two principal disciples, Je Khedrup and Je Gyaltsab, arranged as a traditional three-figure composition. The central figure measures 32cm in height, while both accompanying masters measure 31.5cm. Each sculpture is handcrafted from copper and enhanced with gold plating and acrylic color. The set has a combined weight of 9.20 kg, giving the three sculptures a substantial presence when displayed together. Rich gold-plated surfaces contrast with deep red and brown painted areas across the robes, lotus seats, and bases.
Tsongkhapa is seated at the center with his hands held before his chest in the teaching mudra, while lotus flowers rise on either side of him. Je Khedrup and Je Gyaltsab are positioned on either side in seated postures, creating a balanced representation of the master and his two principal disciples. All three figures wear the distinctive monastic robes associated with their representations, with carefully painted facial details, patterned garments, and elaborately decorated lotus bases. The layered robes, floral motifs, gold-plated sections, and acrylic-painted details demonstrate the extensive decorative work applied throughout the set.
Tsongkhapa is the revered founder of the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, while Je Khedrup and Je Gyaltsab are traditionally recognized as two of his most important disciples and successors in the transmission of his teachings. Together, the three figures represent an important lineage relationship within Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This set is particularly suited for Buddhist altars, monasteries, Dharma centers, meditation spaces, teaching environments, or collections focused on Tibetan Buddhist masters.
Introduction of Tshonkhapa Set
Set of three sculptures, each representing a major figure in the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism: Tsongkhapa, Je Khedrup, and Je Gyaltsab. Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug tradition, is depicted seated in a meditation pose, radiating tranquility and profound wisdom. Je Khedrup, one of Tsongkhapa's most esteemed students, is shown standing beside him, embodying devotion and spiritual mastery. Je Gyaltsab, another prominent disciple of Tsongkhapa, completes the trio, standing and displaying a posture of noble strength and compassion. Together, these sculptures honor the key figures in the Gelug lineage, offering a powerful representation of spiritual continuity and enlightenment.
