Tsongkhapa founded the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism and is remembered for his scholarly achievements and the founding of the Ganden Monastery. The second successor, Je Khedrup, made substantial contributions to the intellectual foundation of the Gelug school and its spread throughout Tibet. All three are dressed in monastic robes and yellow caps, showing their commitment to the Gelug tradition.
