About Our Product
This Traditional White Tara Buddhist Sculpture measures 11.5 cm in height, 8.5 cm in length, and 4.5 cm in width, with a weight of 0.15 kg. Made in 2015 by Shakya, the sculpture is cast from coral dust and presents White Tara seated on a lotus pedestal. Her calm face, crown, jewelry, flowing garments, and lotus flowers create a detailed representation of the revered Buddhist deity.
This sculpture begins with an ornate crown decorated with a small figure at the center and flame-like details around the upper edge. Her face has a peaceful expression, framed by decorative earrings and flowing hair. The upper body is adorned with necklaces and other ornaments, while lotus flowers rise beside her shoulders. Her hands are arranged in graceful gestures, and her seated legs rest on a rounded lotus pedestal. The base is finished with rows of lotus petals and carved decorative details, while the coral dust material gives the entire sculpture its distinctive red appearance.
White Tara is traditionally associated with compassion, protection, healing, and longevity in Himalayan Buddhist practice. Her peaceful form represents a compassionate presence that guides practitioners toward greater awareness and inner peace. This sculpture can be placed on a Buddhist altar, meditation space, prayer room, or spiritual collection as a representation of compassion, peaceful practice, and devotion.
Introduction of White Tara
White Tara is a female bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, often depicted with seven eyes. According to legend, she emerged from Avalokiteshvara's tear, which fell to earth and formed a lake. From this lake, a lotus bloomed, revealing the goddess when it opened. Like Avalokiteshvara, she is a compassionate figure who aids sentient beings in their quest for enlightenment.
