About Our Product

This Traditional Vajrasattva Buddhist Sculpture is a finely crafted sacred statue measuring 35 cm in height, 22.5 cm in length, and 13.5 cm in width, with a weight of 2.79 kg. Created from a copper body with gold plating, acrylic painting, and gemstone embellishments, this sculpture reflects the refined artistry of Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship. Vajrasattva is depicted seated peacefully upon a lotus pedestal in a meditative posture, adorned with an elaborate jeweled crown, intricate ornaments, and flowing garments. The radiant gold surface, colorful acrylic details, and carefully placed gemstones enhance the sacred presence of this purification deity while showcasing the skill and devotion of traditional artisans.

Vajrasattva, revered as the Buddha of Purification and Purity, represents the cleansing of negative karma, restoration of vows, and the cultivation of enlightened awareness. He is depicted holding the vajra (thunderbolt) in his right hand, placed near his heart, symbolizing indestructible wisdom, compassion, and the unchanging nature of enlightened mind. In his left hand, he holds the vajra bell, representing wisdom and the union of emptiness and compassion. His peaceful expression, graceful posture, and jeweled ornaments reflect the qualities of clarity, purity, and spiritual transformation, while the lotus pedestal symbolizes awakening and the unfolding of enlightened qualities.

This Vajrasattva Buddhist statue is ideal for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, shrine collections, or sacred interiors dedicated to purification practices. The combination of gold plated craftsmanship, gemstone decoration, detailed acrylic painting, and traditional Vajrayana iconography creates a meaningful representation of spiritual cleansing and inner transformation. As a sacred Tibetan Vajrasattva sculpture, it serves as a reminder to cultivate mindfulness, purify obstacles, and progress toward enlightenment through wisdom and compassion.

Introduction To Vajrasattva:

Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
