About Our Product

This Traditional Vajrasattva Altar Sculpture is a finely crafted Buddhist deity statue measuring 25 cm in height, 18.5 cm in length, and 11 cm in width, with a weight of 1.73 kg. Created from a copper body with gold plating, acrylic painting, and gemstone embellishments, this sculpture reflects the refined artistry of Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship. Vajrasattva is depicted seated peacefully upon a lotus pedestal in a meditative posture, adorned with a jeweled crown, intricate ornaments, and flowing garments. The radiant gold surface, colorful painted details, and carefully placed gemstones highlight the sacred beauty and traditional craftsmanship of this purification deity representation.

Vajrasattva, known as the Buddha of Purification and Purity, represents the cleansing of negative karma, restoration of vows, and the cultivation of enlightened awareness. He is depicted holding the vajra (thunderbolt) in his right hand, placed near his heart, symbolizing indestructible wisdom, compassion, and the unchanging nature of enlightened mind. In his left hand, he holds the vajra bell, representing wisdom and the union of emptiness and compassion. His peaceful expression, elegant ornaments, and lotus seat reflect the qualities of purity, clarity, and spiritual transformation. The combination of vajra and bell expresses the inseparable nature of method and wisdom, which are essential aspects of the Vajrayana path.

This Vajrasattva Buddhist statue is ideal for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, shrine collections, or sacred interiors dedicated to purification practices. The combination of gold plated details, gemstone decoration, acrylic accents, and traditional iconography creates a meaningful representation of spiritual cleansing and awakening. As a sacred Tibetan Vajrasattva sculpture, it serves as a reminder to cultivate mindfulness, purify obstacles, and progress toward enlightenment through wisdom and compassion.

Introduction To Vajrasattva:

Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
