About Our Product
This Traditional Spiritual Kadampa Stupa is a beautiful spiritual piece made from copper with gold plating. It measures 14.5 cm high, 8.5 cm wide, and weighs 0.65 kg. Its traditional Himalayan design includes a rounded body, layered sections, and a spire at the top, which symbolize wisdom, enlightenment, and the teachings of Buddha.
The stupa holds deep spiritual significance in Buddhist practice, symbolizing the enlightened mind and the path toward awakening. The stupa is carefully handcrafted with smooth curves, lotus designs at the base, and fine decorative details. Every part of the stupa has a special meaning in Buddhist tradition and reminds practitioners to follow the path of peace, mindfulness, and compassion. The gold-plated finish adds beauty and highlights its sacred importance.
This Kadampa Stupa is perfect for home altars, meditation rooms, or as a meaningful decorative piece. It brings a sense of peace and spiritual inspiration while celebrating the rich tradition of Himalayan Buddhist art.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
