About Our Product
This Traditional Hindu Ganesha Wall Decor is a handcrafted sacred wall hanging created by artist Rajesh Maharjan in 2022. Made from a copper body with a fine fire-gilded finish, the wall hanging presents Ganesha in a graceful standing form with an elaborate crown, large elephant ears, curved trunk, rounded belly, layered ornaments, and flowing decorative elements extending around the figure. The fire-gilded surface gives the sculpture a warm golden appearance while allowing the detailed carving and ornamental patterns to remain clearly visible. The reverse side reveals the copper construction and handcrafted character of the wall-mounted piece.
The central figure is Ganesha, recognized by his elephant head and distinctive curved trunk. He is shown wearing an ornate jeweled crown and multiple necklaces, bracelets, and other traditional ornaments. One raised hand is presented in a gesture of blessing and reassurance, while the other hands hold sacred attributes. The carefully modeled trunk, expressive eyes, large ears, rounded belly, and richly decorated attire form the principal iconographic features of the sculpture. The elaborate crown and surrounding decorative motifs further emphasize the ceremonial character of the artwork.
