About Our Product
This Traditional Himalayan Butter Lamp Set is a sacred Buddhist offering lamp created for ceremonial practices, altar arrangements, and devotional spaces. Measuring 66 cm in height with a 33 cm diameter, a 21 cm base, and a 15 cm inner depth, each lamp weighs 9.05 kg with a combined weight of 18.1 kg. Handcrafted from a copper body with gold plating and decorated with artificial coral and turquoise stone details, this elaborate pair of lamps reflects the rich heritage of Himalayan ritual craftsmanship. The grand structure and intricate ornamentation make it suitable for monasteries, temples, meditation halls, and sacred home altars.
This lamp features a wide offering bowl, a richly decorated removable lid, and a detailed pedestal base covered with traditional Himalayan motifs. The surface showcases delicate filigree designs, raised ornamental patterns, and carefully arranged coral and turquoise accents that create a refined handcrafted appearance. The lid is crowned with a lotus ornament featuring colorful painted details, while the body displays auspicious symbols and sacred decorative elements associated with purity, wisdom, prosperity, and spiritual blessings. The lotus represents purity and the unfolding of enlightened qualities, while jewel motifs represent precious spiritual values and abundance. The endless knot symbolizes the interconnected nature of wisdom and compassion. The central bowl section includes intricate floral scrollwork, engraved designs, and symbolic imagery, while the lower pedestal contains layered patterns, filigree craftsmanship, and gemstone arrangements. Every section, from the ornate lid to the detailed base, reflects the devotion and artistic heritage found in traditional Tibetan metal craftsmanship.
This Himalayan Butter Lamp Set is used in Buddhist rituals, prayer ceremonies, meditation practices, and sacred offerings of light. In Tibetan Buddhist traditions, butter lamps represent the illumination of wisdom, the removal of ignorance, and the cultivation of clarity and compassion. Placed in monasteries, temples, Dharma centers, or personal meditation spaces, these sacred lamps create a peaceful environment while honoring the practices of generosity, devotion, and spiritual awakening.
Introduction to Butter Lamp
The whole process of offering a butter lamp is also a very spiritual practice. The traditional practice of preparing a butter lamp starts by washing one’s hand, wearing a mask to protect from contaminating the butter lamp through one’s breath, making the wick out of pure cotton, and cleaning the chalices with a clean piece of cloth reserved for this or fresh mosses from the trees, which was commonly used in old times. The whole process is a meditative spiritual practice that engages a person physically and mentally if they know and practices it according to the norms.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

Handcrafted Traditional Bhumba | Sacred Ritual Offering Vessel
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!

We also received a response to our question how old the Statue is and Where It was Made.We Highly recommend EvamRatna as a relieable Company with Experience and Personal Care.

I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this Buddhist Prayer Wheel. The beautiful embossed writing is Davanagari, the Sanskrit/Nepali alphabet also used in Tibet. The formula it reads is the classic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." This Prayer Wheel's unique feature is the inclusion of sacred figures that represent various aspects of spiritual life with precise meanings. The service I received was impeccable, attentive to my needs, punctual, and always very friendly. I thank Shreya for this attention. I recommend EvamRatna for the extraordinary workmanship of the items for sale. Kind Regards, Enrico Battistotti.
