About Our Statue

This Traditional Green Tara Buddhist Statue is crafted from an oxidized copper body, showcasing the peaceful and compassionate presence of Green Tara in a beautifully detailed Himalayan style. The statue depicts Green Tara seated gracefully upon a lotus pedestal, adorned with a detailed crown, jewelry, and flowing garments. The oxidized finish enhances the depth of the carved details, giving the sculpture a traditional appearance suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, and sacred collections.

Green Tara is portrayed seated in the posture of royal ease, with her right leg extended forward to symbolize her readiness to assist beings and her left leg folded in meditation. Her right hand is extended in the gesture of generosity, while her left hand is raised near her heart in the gesture of refuge and protection. Each hand holds the stem of an utpala lotus that blossoms beside her shoulders, representing purity, compassion, and spiritual awakening. Her serene expression, graceful posture, and elaborate ornaments reflect her role as the Mother of Liberation, associated with swift compassion, protection, and the removal of obstacles.

This Traditional Green Tara Buddhist Statue is an ideal addition to personal shrines, meditation areas, Buddhist altar arrangements, and collections of Himalayan art. Its compact size allows it to be placed in intimate sacred spaces while preserving the meaningful symbolism and peaceful energy of Green Tara practice.

Introduction To The Green Tara:

Green Tara is one of the principal deities who deals with confused and distracted beings, bringing us back to our original state. She helps you release hope for a particular outcome and regain your energy, generating inner peace and clarity. She is believed to be incarnate in every pious woman. Green is connected to the five elements of wood. Wood inspires rejuvenation, compassion, flexibility, and growth.

She is considered a protector who comes to our aid to relieve us of our physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching the face with the bare hand can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please Note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
