About Our Product
This Traditional Buddhist Kapala Vessel is a sacred ritual offering vessel made from copper with a gold plated finish. Measuring 24.5 cm in height, 13.5 cm in length, and 13 cm in width, with a weight of 0.46 kg, this altar piece carries a strong devotional presence for Buddhist shrines, meditation rooms, Vajrayana practice spaces, and sacred home decor. Its covered bowl form, raised stand, and warm golden accents make it a meaningful object for offerings, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
The design features a rounded offering bowl with a detailed domed lid, a vajra finial at the top, and an ornate pedestal base decorated with raised motifs and golden highlights. The surface is enriched with carved patterns that bring depth and ritual beauty to the vessel, while the copper body gives it a traditional Himalayan character. Each section, from the lid to the base, reflects careful craftsmanship and the sacred visual language of Tibetan Buddhist ritual art.
In Vajrayana Buddhist practice, a Kapala is used as a symbolic offering vessel connected with transformation, wisdom, and the purification of ordinary perception. It represents the offering of ego, attachment, and ignorance into the path of awakening. Placed on an altar, this Buddhist Kapala vessel becomes a powerful reminder of devotion, inner peace, spiritual discipline, and the journey toward enlightenment.
Introduction To The Kapala :
The Kapala set holds the nectar used in higher esoteric rituals. It offers liberation to gods and deities, ensuring their devotion. The offerings are said to be transformed into the Wisdom Nectar, a liquid form of the deity's Enlightened Mind.
