About Our Product

This Traditional Bishnu Statue measures 13 cm in height, 13.5 cm in length, and 7.5 cm in width, with a weight of 0.52 kg. Made from brass with a metal vacuum finish, the sculpture presents Lord Vishnu in a detailed reclining form surrounded by multiple sacred figures. The ornate throne, serpent canopy, decorative arch, lotus details, and small deity figures create a richly worked Hindu devotional composition suitable for altar and spiritual display.

This statue features Lord Vishnu reclining upon Shesha, the multi headed cosmic serpent, in the traditional Anantashayana form. Goddess Lakshmi is shown near Vishnu, while Lord Brahma appears seated upon the lotus rising from Vishnu, representing the creation of the universe. Garuda, the sacred mount and devoted attendant of Vishnu, is shown kneeling with hands joined in reverence near the lower section. The surrounding throne and arch are decorated with the Dashavatara, the ten principal incarnations of Vishnu: Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Buddha, and Kalki. These small deity figures are arranged across the ornamental arch, creating a complete visual representation of Vishnu and his different manifestations. Together, the composition represents preservation, cosmic order, protection, and the continuing presence of Vishnu through different ages.

The sculpture rests on a detailed rectangular throne decorated with repeating floral and scrolling motifs. The multi headed Shesha rises protectively behind Vishnu, while the surrounding openwork arch connects the smaller deity figures into a single sacred composition. Its detailed arrangement of Vishnu, Lakshmi, Brahma, Garuda, Shesha, and the Dashavatara makes this piece especially distinctive for a Hindu altar, temple space, prayer room, or devotional collection.

Introduction of Vishnu

Vishnu is one of the principal deities in Hinduism, revered as the preserver within the Trimurti (the three primary aspects of the divine, alongside Brahma, the creator, and Shiva, the destroyer). He is worshipped as the sustainer and protector of the universe, tasked with maintaining cosmic order and balance. Vishnu is often depicted with four arms, holding various symbols such as the conch shell (Shankha), mace (Gada), discus (Chakra), and lotus flower, each representing his divine attributes. His most common forms are Rama and Krishna, both revered as avatars (incarnations) of Vishnu. Devotees believe that worshipping Vishnu brings peace, harmony, and spiritual liberation. He is widely celebrated in Hindu temples and households through rituals, prayers, and festivals.
