About Our Product
This Traditional Altar Mantra Prayer Wheel measures 26.5cm in height, 11.5cm in length, and 11.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.51 kg. Crafted from brass, copper, and wood, the prayer wheel has a cylindrical body set on a raised base with a wooden support beneath it. The copper body is finished with detailed borders, a domed top, and a pointed finial, giving the piece a traditional Himalayan appearance for altar and meditation spaces.
This prayer wheel features rows of raised Tibetan mantra script wrapped around the cylindrical body, separated by decorative beaded borders. The repeated mantra design represents continuous prayer and the spreading of sacred teachings. At the top, a domed cap with carved floral details supports a pointed finial, while the lower section rests on a wooden turning support above a brass base. In Tibetan Buddhist practice, a prayer wheel represents devotion, mindfulness, the accumulation of merit, and the wish to spread compassion and Dharma teachings. Turning the wheel is traditionally understood as a way of engaging with the prayers and mantras contained within it.
This altar prayer wheel can be placed on a Buddhist shrine, meditation table, prayer room, Dharma space, monastery, or spiritual home display. It can be gently turned during prayer, mantra practice, or meditation and also serves as a meaningful visual reminder of compassion, awareness, and daily spiritual practice.
