About Our Product:
This Tingsha Cymbals for Spiritual Practice set is handcrafted from Five Metals (Pancha Dhattu), featuring a pair of traditional small cymbals connected by a blue cord. Each cymbal has a rounded form with a raised central section and subtly finished circular surface, while the matching pair is designed to be held together by the attached cord.
The cymbals feature a simple, traditional design with concentric detailing around the central raised area. Their bronze-toned metal surfaces display natural variations in finish, while the blue cord provides a contrasting accent and keeps the two cymbals together. The compact size makes this pair suitable for Buddhist practice, meditation spaces, altar arrangements, and collections of traditional Himalayan ritual objects.
Tingsha cymbals are traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhist practice to produce a clear, resonant tone during devotional activities, meditation, prayers, and ritual settings. The sound can serve as an audible marker within a practice session. This Five Metal Pancha Dhattu set can be used as part of a Buddhist altar arrangement or kept as a traditional ritual accessory.
Introduction to Tingsha
Tingsha are hand-held cymbals traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhism. They consist of two metal discs struck together to produce a high-pitched, clear sound. Tingsha are believed to offer relaxing and contemplative properties and are often used in prayer, meditation, rituals, sound healing, and music.
