It has a rich antique finish that showcases the details of Milarepa's tranquil, meditative pose. This statue is made of brass and is ideal for personal altars, meditation places, or as a spiritual gift.
Milarepa is seen as a sign of determination, renunciation, and the transformational force of dedicated practice. He is best known for achieving enlightenment in a single lifetime via severe meditation in Himalayan caves, and he continues to inspire spiritual seekers worldwide. This statue is a daily reminder of the possibility of waking through simplicity, dedication, and discipline.
Introduction To Jetsun Milarepa :
Jetsun Milarepa was a prominent Tibetan yogi, poet, and teacher who flourished in the 11th and 12th centuries. The master's clothing with basic ornamental embellishment alludes to his cave life. The throne is covered with deer hide and carved with Ashtamangala (eight auspicious symbols).
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
