Jambala is also known as the "Money Guard." Kubera, the Buddhist form of the God of Wealth. The prosperous-looking Zambala is always depicted as slightly overweight but not obese and with a healthy body. On his round head, he wears a lavish crown and clutches a lemon in his right hand. He is frequently seen sitting on a little dragon that appears to be cute. In Asia, dragons are revered as beneficent beings. Zambala is clutching a mongoose that spits out gems in his left hand. In addition, he frequently carries additional symbols of plentiful riches in his hands, such as a money bag filled with coins. Zambala appears in a semi-wrathful state, seated on a moon disc atop a lotus seat with his right leg extended.
