About Our Product:

This Tibetan Third Eye Wall Hanging Mask measures 15cm in height and 25cm in width, weighing 1.01 kg. Crafted from copper and enhanced with gold-plated details, lapis lazuli, coral, and turquoise, this elaborate wall artwork demonstrates several forms of traditional metal decoration. The surface features pronounced repousse work, in which the copper is shaped to create raised relief, together with delicate filigree-style ornamentation that adds fine linear and scrolling details around the composition. The combination of raised metalwork, gemstone inlay, and intricate surface decoration gives the piece a highly detailed appearance.

The expressive face is formed through carefully raised and shaped copper elements, with three prominent eyes creating the central visual focus. The forehead eye is vertically positioned above the two main eyes, while the nose, brows, mouth, and surrounding facial elements are developed through layered relief work. Fine filigree patterns appear throughout the ornamental areas, including the flowing motifs around the face and the decorative sections surrounding the eyes. Turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli are arranged in repeated patterns across the surface, while additional gold-plated details emphasize selected raised elements. The outer frame incorporates pointed ornamental forms and gemstone settings, further extending the elaborate composition.

The third eye is traditionally associated with insight, awareness, and perception in various South Asian religious and artistic traditions. As a piece of Himalayan decorative art, the mask combines this expressive imagery with labor-intensive metal techniques, including repousse relief, detailed filigree work, gemstone placement, and ornamental finishing. The extensive surface treatment makes it particularly suited for collectors of Himalayan artwork, Buddhist-inspired interiors, meditation spaces, cultural collections, or distinctive wall displays.
