About Our Product
This Tibetan Tea Serving Pot is an exclusive handcrafted vessel made from copper with a traditional fire-gilded gold finish. Created by artist Mekhe in 2022, the piece features an elaborate body covered with finely engraved floral and scrolling patterns, raised ornamental borders, and detailed relief work. The central body is decorated with a prominent circular emblem, while the upper section rises into a richly ornamented covered vessel. The combination of intricate carving, fire-gilded copper, and its substantial size gives this piece a distinctive character within Himalayan metal craftsmanship.
The body features a detailed Garuda motif at the center, surrounded by engraved decorative patterns and ornamental borders. The handle is designed with a dragon motif, with the dragon’s sculpted head and scaled body forming an elaborate connection to the vessel. The spout is also richly decorated with carved details, while the covered upper section features additional floral and ornamental work. Every visible section, from the finial and lid to the body, handle, spout, and lower border, has been carefully worked to create a unified decorative composition.
This Tea Serving Pot is an exclusive example of Himalayan metal craftsmanship and is suitable for traditional displays, cultural collections, galleries, heritage interiors, Buddhist and Himalayan art collections, and collectors of handcrafted vessels. Created in 2022 by Mekhe, its large proportions, detailed Garuda and dragon motifs, engraved surface, and fire-gilded finish make it a distinctive collector’s piece reflecting the artistic traditions of Himalayan metalwork.
