About Our Product
This Tibetan Shrine Enlightenment Stupa measures 24cm in height, 11.5cm in length, and 11.5cm in width, with a weight of 1.4 kg. Crafted with a copper body and finished with 24K half gold plating, this sculpture features colorful coral and turquoise gemstones incorporated into its decorative details. Created by artist Amir Shakya, the stupa combines a richly ornamented stepped base with a traditional upper structure and an elaborately framed central niche.
The lower portion consists of multiple stepped tiers decorated with engraved motifs, raised ornamental elements, and gemstone accents. Above the tiered base is a raised central section featuring an arched niche containing a small sculpted figure, surrounded by scrolling designs. The upper structure rises into a ribbed central form framed by two elaborate ornamental supports, and the top is completed with layered architectural elements and a finial. The combination of half gold plating, copper, coral, and turquoise creates a distinctive visual contrast across the sculpture.
The Enlightenment Stupa is one of the traditional Eight Great Stupas associated with significant events in the Buddha's life. It commemorates the Buddha's attainment of enlightenment and is therefore closely connected with awakening, realization, and the culmination of the Buddhist path. This stupa is suitable for Buddhist altars, home shrines, meditation spaces, Dharma centers, and collections of traditional Himalayan Buddhist art.
Introduction of Enlightenment Stupa
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is revered as a figure of purity. He is often depicted holding a bell and a vajra, or thunderbolt, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion essential for enlightenment. His mantra is frequently recited during individual and group purification rituals, emphasizing his role in helping practitioners cleanse their minds and actions. Vajrasattva’s teachings encourage followers to maintain moral integrity and develop spiritual insight.
