Tibetan Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka Digital Print

This thangka print depicts the Buddha's Ushnisha, a protuberance on his head that symbolizes the Buddha's wisdom. Revered as the historical Buddha and is surrounded by a halo. The Buddha's extended earlobes symbolize his release from material goods and his previous life.

The Buddha portrays the Bhumisparsha mudra, which literally means "touching the Earth," which is how the Buddha represents the moment of his awakening and his declaration that the earth was his eyewitness to enlightenment. He sits on a Moon Disc Lotus seat with a monk bowl in his right hand, his bright yellow body covered in monk robes to demonstrate his monastic lifestyle.

This print is a perfect gift for devotees like yourself and can be used for different Buddhist activities.

Note: Green Tara with Buddhas and Boddhisattvas Thangka is printed at Enlightenment Studio, located at Boudha Stupa.

Tibetan Shakyamuni Buddha, often known as "the Buddha," is the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhist doctrine. Each "Kalpa" (Buddhist eon) is thought to have its own Buddha, whose teachings disappear when the next Buddha comes. He is believed to have lived about 420 BC and spread Dharma teachings most of his time.
