Introduction To The Kapala Cup :
Kapala is a cup made of a human skull that is commonly offered by followers of Hindu and Buddhist strong Tantric deities. In Tibet, the skull cup is exhibited on the Buddhist altar and is used to present either wine, which symbolizes blood, or dough cakes, which are made to mimic human eyeballs, ears, and so on, to the savage Dharmapala divinities. It grants gods and goddesses liberty in exchange for their devotion. The Kapala, or Skull Bowl, is utilized ritually in numerous ways in Tibetan Buddhism.
