About Our Product

This Tibetan Handmade Shakyamuni Buddha Statue measures 14.5 cm in height , 9.5 cm in width and weighs 0.58 kg. It is crafted from brass and decorated with coral red stone, lapis lazuli, and turquoise. The balanced size makes it suitable for placement on a home altar, meditation table, prayer space, or display shelf, serving both devotional and decorative purposes.

The statue represents Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha and founder of Buddhism. He is typically depicted seated in meditation posture with the Bhumisparsha Mudra (earth-touching gesture), symbolizing the moment of enlightenment. The detailed robe patterns and carefully placed gemstone inlays reflect traditional Tibetan artistic styles. Coral, lapis lazuli, and turquoise are often used in Himalayan art to enhance sacred imagery and add symbolic value.

This statue is ideal for meditation practice, altar decoration, and spiritual home decor. It is suitable for Buddhist practitioners, collectors of Tibetan art, or anyone seeking to create a peaceful and focused environment. It also makes a meaningful gift for religious occasions, house blessings, or cultural celebrations.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom, raised to be a king according to his royal father's wishes. However, around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He renounced his opulent lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to uncover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After over six years of dedicated study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his goal, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. Following this, he stated that he had visited a deer park outside Sarnath (Benares), Varanasi, India.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
