The Buddha is depicted sitting in the lotus pose (padmasana), indicating his steady concentration and mastery over the distractions of the material world. His right hand stretched toward the earth in bhumisparsha mudra, representing his moment of enlightenment, inviting the earth to witness his waking. The left hand, resting gently in his lap in dhyana mudra and holding an alms bowl, depicts the profound state of meditation and mindfulness that leads to insight and clarity.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Shakyamuni Buddha renounced his royal life to pursue a more profound truth that transcended material pleasures and suffering. He was born Prince Siddhartha of the Shakya clan. After years of rigorous asceticism and meditation, he became enlightened under the Bodhi tree and became the Buddha—the Awakened One. He then dedicated his life to teaching the Eightfold Path and the Four Noble Truths to attain liberation. Shakyamuni Buddha stands for the potential for all beings to awaken. He embodies wisdom that leads to ultimate freedom, the victory over ignorance, and the tranquility of non-attachment. His presence is a timeless reminder of the transformative power of inner realization, compassion, and mindfulness.
