About Our Product
This Tibetan Buddhist White Tara Statue measures 22 cm in height, 16 cm in length, and 8.5 cm in width, with a weight of 1.3 kg. Crafted from copper with a rich gold finish, the statue is decorated with gemstone, coral, and turquoise details across the crown, jewelry, and ornaments. Dark painted areas on the robes and lotus base create contrast with the golden surface, while detailed carving can be seen throughout the crown, necklaces, arm ornaments, flowing scarves, lotus flowers, and pedestal. The balanced seated form and carefully finished details reflect traditional Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship.
This statue features White Tara seated peacefully in a meditation posture. From top to bottom, she wears an elaborate jeweled crown above her neatly arranged hair and has a calm face with a third eye on her forehead. White Tara is traditionally shown with seven eyes, including the eyes on her face, forehead, palms, and soles, representing her compassionate awareness of all beings. Her right hand extends downward in Varada Mudra, the gesture of generosity and blessings, while her left hand is raised near the heart in a graceful gesture and holds the stem of a lotus flower. Lotus blossoms rise beside her shoulders, representing purity and spiritual awakening. Her jewelry, flowing scarves, and crossed legs complete the peaceful form as she sits upon a lotus pedestal. White Tara is associated with compassion, healing, long life, peace, and protection.
This White Tara Statue can be placed on a Buddhist altar, home shrine, meditation room, Dharma center, or peaceful spiritual space. It may be used as a visual focus during meditation, prayer, White Tara practice, longevity practice, and personal reflection. The statue is also suitable for Himalayan Buddhist art collections or as a meaningful spiritual gift for practitioners seeking a sacred representation connected with compassion, healing, peace, and long life.
Introduction of White Tara
White Tara is a female bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, often depicted with seven eyes. According to legend, she emerged from Avalokiteshvara's tear, which fell to earth and formed a lake. From this lake, a lotus bloomed, revealing the goddess when it opened. Like Avalokiteshvara, she is a compassionate figure who aids sentient beings in their quest for enlightenment.
