About Our Product

This Tibetan Buddhist White Tara Sculpture is crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic painting, measuring 48cm in height, 34cm in length, and 23cm in width, with a weight of 8.24 kg. Created in 2025 by artist Amir Shakya, this sacred sculpture represents White Tara, the revered Buddhist goddess associated with compassion, healing, and longevity. Its golden finish and painted details reflect the artistic traditions of Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship. This White Tara statue is suitable for monastery altars, personal shrines, meditation rooms, spiritual home decor, and collections of traditional Buddhist artwork.

White Tara is traditionally depicted seated in the vajra posture upon a lotus pedestal, displaying a peaceful expression that reflects compassion and spiritual awareness. Her right hand extends in Varada Mudra, the gesture of generosity and blessings, while her left hand rests near her heart in a gesture associated with protection and spiritual guidance. She is recognized by her seven eyes, including those on her forehead, palms, and soles, symbolizing her ability to perceive the suffering of all beings. Her elegant ornaments, flowing garments, and lotus attributes represent purity, wisdom, and enlightened compassion. The combination of gold plating and acrylic painting complements the traditional iconography of this Tibetan Buddhist deity.

In Tibetan Buddhism, White Tara is revered as the goddess of compassion, healing, and long life. Her seven eyes symbolize boundless awareness and her compassionate attention toward all sentient beings. She is associated with prayers for longevity, good health, inner peace, and the removal of obstacles to spiritual practice. White Tara's peaceful presence encourages practitioners to cultivate kindness, wisdom, and mindfulness on the path toward enlightenment. This gold-plated White Tara sculpture is suitable for daily prayers, longevity practices, meditation, Buddhist altar displays, and devotional shrine decoration. It also makes a meaningful spiritual gift for Buddhist practitioners and collectors of Himalayan religious art.

Introduction of White Tara

White Tara is a female bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, often depicted with seven eyes. According to legend, she emerged from Avalokiteshvara's tear, which fell to earth and formed a lake. From this lake, a lotus bloomed, revealing the goddess when it opened. Like Avalokiteshvara, she is a compassionate figure who aids sentient beings in their quest for enlightenment.
