About Our Ritual Item :

Honor your sacred space with this Tibetan Buddhist throne, a masterfully handcrafted seat designed to elevate your Buddha or deity statue. Measuring 41 cm in height and 35 cm in width (with a 13 cm side width), this throne showcases exquisite copper craftsmanship with elegant silver plating. Designed to hold a statue about 27 cm tall and 20 cm wide, this spiritual pedestal enhances authenticity, reverence, and artistic depth to your home altar. At 3.37 kg, the throne provides a sturdy and symbolic foundation, echoing the Himalayan Buddhist tradition where such thrones represent divine presence and enlightened elevation.

The throne begins as raw copper sheets, which are carefully cut, hammered, and shaped by hand using traditional repoussé methods. Each curve of the structure and the iconic torana (flame-like halo) is sculpted with precision and devotion, forming a symmetrical and spiritually symbolic base for a deity statue. Intricate details such as flame patterns and decorative beading are individually chiseled and applied by hand, ensuring every throne is unique. Once the copperwork is complete, select elements are delicately silver-plated by hand, creating a striking contrast between the warm copper body and the cool silver accents.

It is then treated with a patina, achieved through natural aging techniques that deepen the carvings and give the piece its time-worn, sacred look. Once completed, the base and torana are precisely aligned to hold a Buddha or deity statue, effectively highlighting their significance. Every step of the process reflects both artistic mastery and spiritual reverence, making this throne not only a display base but a powerful addition to any shrine or altar.
