About Our Product

This Tibetan Buddhist Gangsa Ganglu Set is made from white metal and includes two long handled ritual tools with different upper forms. Both pieces have richly patterned handles decorated with repeated scrolling designs and detailed ornamental ends. One piece has a round bowl shaped top, while the other has a square framed top surrounded by openwork decoration and a circular section at the center. Their long, slender forms and carefully worked metal details reflect traditional Tibetan ceremonial design.

This Gangsa Ganglu Set features detailed sacred artwork from top to bottom. The Ganglu has a shallow round bowl at the top, followed by an ornamental section with a protective face motif beneath it. The Gangsa has a square decorative head with a circular center, surrounded by floral scrollwork and vajra inspired openwork forms. Both handles continue downward with repeated carved patterns, ending in wider grip sections and small vajra shaped finials. These details give the pair a balanced ceremonial appearance connected with Tibetan Buddhist ritual tradition.

This Gangsa Ganglu Set is used during Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies, offering rituals, prayer practices, and other sacred activities. The long handles allow the ritual tools to be held and used during ceremonial offerings, making the set suitable for monastery rituals, Dharma centers, Buddhist temples, and dedicated home practice spaces. It can also be placed with other ritual objects as part of a traditional Buddhist altar collection.

Introduction of Gangsa and Ganglu set

Gangsa and Ganglu are traditional Tibetan ritual implements used in Buddhist ceremonies and offerings. The Gangsa is a long, narrow vessel typically used to hold water, grains, or other symbolic substances, often placed on altars during prayers and rituals. The Ganglu is slightly larger and features a more elaborate design, sometimes adorned with gemstones or intricate engravings. Both pieces are crafted from copper and silver, symbolizing purity and spiritual enlightenment. They are essential components in Tibetan Buddhist rites, believed to channel divine energy and blessings during puja ceremonies. The combination of Gangsa and Ganglu enhances the sacredness of any altar or meditation space, serving as a reminder of the deep connection between the physical world and the spiritual realm.
