Rare Tibetan Buddha Shakyamuni Thangka with Dhyani Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
The Tibetan Buddha Shakyamuni thangka exemplifies exceptional artistry, created with acrylics and authentic 24K gold, revealing the essence of traditional Buddhist art. Gold detailing that exudes a divine aura enhances each intricate design, ranging from celestial symbols to spiritual figures. The vibrant colors are seamlessly paired with premium cotton canvas, while the gold highlights create a luminous depth, showcasing the cosmic aspect of every deity. The meticulous brushwork portrays subtle expressions, flowing garments, and intricate decorations, making this piece a unique and stunning addition to any sacred environment.
At the center is Shakyamuni Buddha, depicted in deep meditation on a lotus throne, with his right hand forming the earth-touching mudra, symbolizing his triumph over ignorance and achieving enlightenment. His serene expression, featuring half-closed eyes, reflects deep wisdom and steadfast compassion. The golden robes, embellished with intricate floral and auspicious designs, symbolize purity and enlightenment. Surrounding him is an ornate golden halo, signifying his boundless knowledge and spiritual insight. The magnificent throne is richly adorned with floral patterns that represent the flourishing of Dharma.
To the right, Brahma stands alongside other deities in an act of reverence, while on the left, Indra is portrayed with fellow deities presenting sacred offerings. Flanking Shakyamuni Buddha, dragons appear on either side, symbolizing both protection and the transmission of wisdom. The Five Dhyani Buddhas; Vairocana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi, embody the five aspects of enlightenment: wisdom, mirror-like awareness, equanimity, infinite light, and all-accomplishing wisdom.
Surrounding the main figure are White Tara, Manjushri, Chenrezig, Vajrapani, and Green Tara, each bestowing a special blessing. Green Tara offers swift protection against pain; Vajrapani embodies the power of the Buddhas; Chenrezig represents compassion; Manjushri symbolizes wisdom; and White Tara provides longevity and healing.
