Introduction to Bhumba
A crucial ceremonial object, the Bhumba or Ritual Vase is used to keep holy water that has been blessed by the Guru. Holy water is splashed or spilled to cleanse individuals, locations, or things in order to banish negativity and fight off evil spirits.
Bumba is used by gurus in a wide range of rituals, from elaborate purification rites for new homes, monuments, and holy sites to straightforward blessings for followers meant to purify and shield them from harmful energies. Bhumbas can also be used by practitioners to make water offerings, in which case the water is regarded as pure nectar.
